Help with Coding/Compatibility Issues

Alright, I’m having quite a bit of trouble with this website that I’m trying to make for my teacher’s newspaper class. It seems that there is an issue with the way the page is displaying on IE and FF.

In FF:
-Everything Looks fine except the navigation where it is missing “Advertise”

In IE:
-The tables are all distorted, but the navigation works great.

Funny how that works…

Would anyone be willing to point me in the right direction on how to go about fixing this problem?
