java script and dreamweaver

Hey

I was given a task to update a firm’s web pages. The pages contain java script which I haven’t used a lot. When I open the index page the design and the code side inform me that my browser does not support script.

What does this mean? Is it due to the fact that I don’t have a java script program on my computer.

Please help!

There's something very wrong with a web page that doesn't work without JavaScript.

@userloginFeb 21.2006 — Javascript will run on the local machine.

Javascript can run in an explorer window (what you see on your computer system) just as easily as a web browser window or in a script host like WSH.
