popup small window to block user action

Hi guys,

How to popup a small window to prevent user from doing anything? just like an alert popup window that user cannot do anything until they click ok/cancel. The window will close automatically after the process is finished. Thanks in advance !

@bathurst_guyFeb 15.2006 — Can't that I know of, you could create a div that covers the page and have loading written in it and when the site is finished loading hide the div.

you can refocus the window to the user , until and unless it is properly closed , clicking on the close button of the window.

insert this code in the body tag of the [B][U]pop up window[/U][/B]
