Pls help with Hashtable in Javascript question

Hi,

I’m trying to use a hashtable in javascript, and I have a question. I need for the key field to be a String that I can manipulate on the fly.

Such as

key = “F_Other_” + iCount3;

In this case if iCount3 has a current value of 1, the String key would = “F_Other_1”. I need “F_Other_1” to be the key to the hashtable, but I am unsure how to do this.

I read some articles and it appears to me that if I do this:
actualValues[“key”] =

then the value of the key is actually going to be “key” as a literal and NOT the value of the variable named key. Am I right about this?

Is it possible for me to do what I need to do???
