AJAX vs C#.NET

Hi,

I was wondering what the differences vs using C#.net and AJAX to make web services. Does anyone know of an article showing the differences or know first hand what they are? The benfits of each?

Thanks

@A1ien51Feb 08.2006 — Ajax and C# is like comparing apples to oranges.

Ajax is JavaScript using the XMLHttpRequest object which can read data from the server and send it. It can be used with C#, VB.NET, PHP, Java, etc.

C# is a server side language that you can do things with. With 2.0 frameowrk you have client callbacks and Atlas. Atlas is using the XMLHttpRequest object.

What are you wanting to do should be the real question here.
