URL field

Can someone tell me how can I manipulate the URL field text with javascript. My original thread is posted here:

@LeruraJan 30.2006 — you cannot manipulate the url in the addressbar.

but you can use frames.

your indexpage can look like this:
[CODE]<frameset rows="100%,*" border="0">
<frame src="mypage.php">
<frame>
</frameset>[/CODE]
then your links will, by default, load in the frame an therefore not affect the addresbar
