multiple events with on click=?

Hopefully this is an easy one. I would like to know if multiple events can be assigned to an on click. If I have ‘on click=”submit”‘ at the end of a form, can I also have that same click execute a javascript function?
Thank you for your time!
<div onclick="validate(); submit();">Click Me</div>
Even better, put everything you want to do in one function and call that.

Try avoid giving functions reserved javascript words as name. submit() is a javascript method, so that using this name as function can create problems.
