A problem with Filters not showing properly

I’ve attached a screen shot of my page showing what I mean. When I set a filter: alpha(style=0,opacity=50); tag in my style definitions for my divs, it doesn’t show properly. I’m not sure if this has anything to do with this computer’s settings. I’m using Windows Explorer 6 and running Windows 2000 Pro (This is one of my schools computers). My computer at home however shows everything up fine (Windows Explorer 6 Windows XP Pro).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

@bathurst_guyJan 24.2006 — Filters will only work on Internet Explorer (which is what I assume you meant by Windows Explorer, as they are different things) It all depends on a lot of things if they work or not. Basically - dont use them.

Major suckage. Looks like I can't show off that particular nifty cool looking CSS/HTML thing to my computer teacher... oh well. Thanks!
