Hiding Statusbar of the currently open window…

[COLOR=DarkRed][SIZE=2][FONT=Trebuchet MS]I need to hide the status bar of the browser window in which i am currently working…

for eg. As you are seeing the current page that has status bar at the bottom. I need a method as to hide the status bar of this window itself.

Plz see how it is posible…[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

@CrazyMerlinJan 23.2006 — as far as I'm aware you cannot effect the active windows style, although I once saw some script that purported to doing this. I never did test it.

if may have been disallowed as a security measure

@felgallJan 23.2006 — There are some browsers that can be configured to allow the web page to access the status bar but most sensibly restrict Javascript in the web page to accessing only the web page.
