creating a surface area calculator

hello..
i am currently creating a website for a ceramic tiles company, my problem is that i have to make a calculator which calculates the surface area of a certain room with x amoout of walls. the design format is in:
Wall 1. surface length … metres … cm
surface width … metres … cm
Wall 2. surface length … metres … cm
surface width … metres … cm
Wall 3. surface length … metres … cm
surface width … metres … cm and so on..
where the … indicate input from the customer, the addition of all the walls will give an estimate of the total surface area of the room.
i was wondering if any one has any idea of how i go about doing that, i can use either javascript or php.

@NogDogJan 22.2006 — Seems pretty straight-forward: create a form where the user enters the dimensions, then a form-handler script that does some basic multiplicaton and addition to calculate the area.

Is there some specific part of this you need help with?
