I would like to control what is displayed in the navigation bar of my site. Right now, the nav bar displays the url of whatever page is active. For example, if you are on the main page, the nav bar displays [url]http://www.site/mainpage.html[/url]. If you then move to page 2, the nav bar displays [url]http://www.site/page2.html[/url].

I would like to the nav bar display to be constant, i.e., the same regardless of what page of the site is active. How do I do this? Is there a way to display the site name rather than an actual url?

I appreciate any help.

sorry i didnt read what you put properly.

iv wondered how to do this i think its a server setting.

using php you wont display page names it will be something like www.site.com/?id=1, www.site.com/?id=2 etc...

@welshJan 19.2006 — make ur index page one giant frame and have the site inside that. it will keep the adress in the top the same.
