iFrame transitional background color

Hello all,

I have an HTML document with an iFrame in it. Outside of the iFrame are some buttons that control the content within the frame. The background color for my main document is a light blue color. I set that color for my source pages which appear within the frame as well. However, when I click the buttons to change the frame content, while the content is changing, the entire frame beifly becomes white. Is there any way around this, to just keep it light blue all the time? Also this is when I test in safari.

The other problem is when I test in firefox, my buttons end up opening the desired frame content in a new browser window. I’ve set an ID for the iFrame and the links on my buttons all target that ID. Do I have to do something else to get this to work across browsers?

Thanks,

Jon

@Mr_Initial_ManJan 16.2006 — If you are using CSS to set the background, I'm afraid you are out of luck; the white color you see is that instant before the CSS kicks in.

As for your Iframe targeting, I think we'd need to see the actual page.
