@ciscoguy24authorJan 16.2006 — #ok pcthug what screen res are you seeing it in? I am running 1200 and 1152 In firefox when I view the site it has the contentcenter smashed with the footer and the footer is off the screen.
@pcthugJan 16.2006 — #Im using 1024x768 FF/WIN combination,
To help me help you, ive highlighted parts of your site which seem to meet the criteria of: I view the site it has the contentcenter smashed with the footer and the footer is off the screen.
I assume that you would like the circled content to be moved left, in the direction of the arrow, And that you wouldnt like any overhang
@ciscoguy24authorJan 16.2006 — #what screen res are you at? Because at 1200 and 1152 its messed up. The footer is not all the way down on the bottom
And in IE the footer is not streching all the way to the right
@pcthugJan 17.2006 — #1200+ should work with this, though It's only approx, and havent tested it in IE,
#footer p { position:absolute; top:92%; left:11%; right:70%; background-color: #10100e; width:67%; text-align:right; color:#999999; font: normal 12px "Tahoma"; }
? Hey guys I tested both of these code snippets locally and they aren't working. ? The footer is still not at the very bottom and firefox is not liking it at all. This css thing is very frustrating to learn. Now somebody else told me I should be using relative positioning instead of AP. Is this why I am having all the issues?? I am sorry for being a pain but I would really like to learn all this and to get it right. Thanks Ray and pcthug for helping me out.
He uses a embeded script called flashobject and tables. I find that this design would be better for what I am trying to do then spending all my time on css. His idea is kinda what I was trying to do.... Thanks for everybody's help with this. I learned alot ?
