@JPnycJan 13.2006 — #Well the paid thing is more for Yahoo, which doesn't seem to crawl your site unless you ask them nicely, or pay them. Google's usually pretty good about that. I find it's by FAR the most common bot on our sites, outnumbering the others about 10 to 1.
Your site appears fairly bot friendly, so I can't see why you're having a problem getting ranked. The site could use a redesign though.
@johnevaJan 13.2006 — #Well I would not pay to improve my ranking.
I have managed ok without paying.
Most important thing of all at the moment is good relvent content. Make sure it is updated often and original they dont like copyed content. Also make sure there are no spelling mistakes.
You are on MSN so google will get you soon.
I find it does take Google a little longer to index sites.
@johnevaJan 14.2006 — #No at the moment you or listed as coming soon This domain name was recently registered at register.com.
Which means you have been submited (they know your out there) but they still yet to crawl your website with the bot.
Once they have crawled it it will then display your discription and title instead of the messege it displays now.
Then you should be able to find it though the keywords you have choose.
As for your PR that wont go up for a while you only hav 12 links to your site and I should imagine the traffice though your site is also very low until these things get better your rank wont go up.
Anyways google PR is not the be all and end all this does not get updated often and is out of date in a majority of cases. I am in better place on a search than other sites with better PR.
As for paying I dont know cos I have never paid to get a better rank.
@BrollachanJan 18.2006 — #Here run this to check your keywords are being used in your page content enough.
http://www.submitexpress.com/analyzer/[/QUOTE] That link is very handy, it's certainly explained why one of my sites had such a low page ranking in google compared to the other search engines. Before the keyword relevancy was 13% now it's about 85%. It's made me focus more on what content is appearing on the home page and adding keywords of choice into home page sentences.
@BrollachanJan 19.2006 — #With my new site I registered it just under a fortnight ago. I then placed a link to my new site on a site which Google frequently crawls. Though I did then manually submit to Google last Friday by this Monday the site had appeared on Google. Just goes to show that sometimes placing links to your site on a regularly crawled site can be quicker that directly submitting to Google.
