Question about background image?

hello, and thanks for the help in advance.

I am trying to get two columns of the same image, one aligned on the left side and one aligned on the right. I am using this code:

————

body {
background-color: 000000;

background-image: url(‘imageurl’);
background-repeat: repeat-y;
background-position: left;}

———–

I was wondering if there would be a way to make it to where the image creates two repeating columns, one aligned left and one aligned right.

Thanks
