Security Settings on XP

Hi PPl,

Im following a book and learning how to make use of a database using Dreamweaver MX2004 and Access. Its all goin fine and i have followed the book to the letter, but im now finding i can only search through the database and not Insert or Update.

After reading through Macromedias Help pages i found that it can only be the Access rights to the folders, but XP wont let me unlock them from Read Only.

Can anyone help, im thinking this is due to a security update from Micorosoft?
