PhpBB help please.

I think this is the right place to post this if there is some where better then I am sorry.

Okay I want to know a few things in phpBB.
Firstly if you have noticed or not in the default SubSilver theme you get two diffrent background colours for your posts one comming after the other like this:

notice the light brown then the dark brown.

Where is the code for this? Also is it possible to use a background image for this? Can these images be made random? Can these images become user selectable?

I realise that some of the later stuff on that list I wont have a chance in being able to do with my current knowlege in php.

@SpectreReturnsJan 08.2006 — That's actually controlled by the css. It's called something like row1 and row2. The actuall alternating is controlled by the template with blocks.

@chazzyJan 08.2006 — yeah, the only problem over there is that it takes a day or so to get any sort of answer...

and to clarify from your original post:

The code's in 2 places: the actual PHP file in topic view mode and the css that pulls the classes. You can turn off the alternating colors by editting the file and changing the colors by editting the CSS or creating a new theme.

To make the images random you'd be working closer into mod development, there might be one out there.

Same thing with user selectable.
