T-Shirt Design page

Have you ever seen those pages where there is a blank shirt and you can put your uploaded image on the shirt? Could someone give me a quick idea of what I need to know to do that? I know basic php fairly well.

I’m thinking I’ll need an upload script (I can handle this). The T-Shirt will be the background image I guess and the uploaded image will have to be able to change in size.

How do I allow the user to change the image size proportionaly? Use JS to change the image height and width attribute?

How do I allow the user to change the position of the image slightly?
How will I let the user save the entire image (with background shirt) when their done?

I’m just trying to think this through so I don’t head in the wrong direction. I’m not looking for code, just ideas and the names of functions that will help. That sort of think. I appreciate any input, Thanks!

@bokehJan 02.2006 — You don't need javascript at all (unless you want to be able to drag the image); all you need to use is php's GD library to overlay their image over the teeshirt image.

Off topic: have you ever looked at your page with Firefox?

@LocalHeroauthorJan 02.2006 — I can say that I don't know much about php's gd library, so I'll look into it. Thanks. What doesn't work with FF? A few of the table borders are off, but that's all I see.
