Extra spacing, driving me insane!

I have a template layout that has a couple of extra spaces when viewed in IE (looks fine in FF). I can’t for the LIFE of me find out what’s causing this! Can somebody please help me before I go crazy? Thanks!

FWIW, I often put border="1" in my table for debugging purposes, it makes it a lot easier to tell what table cell the problem is in, and reveals some problems like too many TD elements in a TR.

Are all your tags closed? I didn't check.

Try removing the link to your CSS file, if that fixes it then your problem is in there.

Sorry I can't be more specific, but those are the things I would look at first.

Thanks for the suggestions. I removed the css, and the spaces are still there, so that's not it. I added a border to the table and don't see anything extra.


Well nevermind, as I typed this, I was deleting some extra spaces INSIDE my html code (like between the <td> and <tr> codes) that should have been read, but apparently IE was reading them. I hate IE!
