livesearch?

Hi guys.

Please don’t shoot me for this, as I don’t know where else to ask / look ?

I want to implement something similar to the google live search on my site, though I can’t find any sample code, which I can use. Via google, I got the scripts for the liesearch, but it’s too difficult for me to understand, and implement into my website. After about two days of modification, I still couldn’t get it to work with my intranet site, which uses sessions. Even if I included the googlesearch.php file, it didn’t work. When I tried to do a search for something, it didn’t “suggest” anything from my MySQL DB.

Thus, does anyone know where I can get some sample code to include in an exsting PHP+MySQL website. I basically want to query a userbase, fetching the firstname, middlename, lastname and id field, and then return the values to a form. I want to use the id field as a hidden form element.

Any suggestions / recomendations?
