a bit of color?

aloha!
[URL=http://purefan.xennos.com/ajedrez/biblio/Board/board.html]my page looks like dead[/URL]!!
I thought of adding some 3d colors to the table but i dont exactly know how to do it…
if you care to take a look at suggest me something that would be great!
or if you are kind enough to tell me how to set some cool 3d colors to a table that would be awsome!

The best thing to do is create a background image the same height/width as each square. Also, ou can manipulate borders to create a 3-d effect (making the top and one side a lighter color than the bottom and other side).

About setting an image on each square...Im sorry but I dont see the point...I set the height/width with CSS so it should stay like that.

and yes, im talking about the board.

@KDLAJan 03.2006 — Oh - I just meant that if you wanted a 3-D effect, you could create a shaded image (black or red), then use it for each cell's background --- rather than straight color.

I see what you suggest but I think I'll keep it simple, no one's paying me so functionality is a bit more important than appearance.
