Hello!
My first post and it looks like quite a bit of traffic here. Each member trying to solve their problem. I hope there are an equal amount of problem solvers?
Ok, I have an HTML that is about 4k size. IT pops open from a parent that gives it 2 variables; the address to a webcam image and a call rate in seconds. I have found several webcams that provide interesting content such as NewYork times square, some California beach Cams, Oldfaithful in Yellowstone Park…
Most of these sites work well with my script. It grabs an image and saves it until several are accumulated. Then, I can replay them with a IE fading script. It is a good show for landscapes with weather. I can either save all the individual images manually or, close my browser and lose them all.
I have a problem if any particular image does not get fully loaded when the script gets ahead and calls for a new image, say after 60 seconds. Then, the previous images will each begin another call to the server to replace what it already has thereby rendering the page useless. What I have to do is sit and watch the status bar and if ever the new image is not loaded while the counter is approaching another recall, I have to be sure and click a stop button.
So, without having to give you the entire 4k of my page, can you offer any help yet?
