My content WON’T line up in Firefox.

I’m having all sorts of problems lining things up. ?

My problems are shown on the following page:

http://metminex.net/htmlproblems/masterTemplate2.old.htm

First of all, the white gaps – I can’t control the height. : (
I want something thin.
I’ve got a graphic in there that is 2 pixels high.
I’ve tried loads of things, like reducing the graphic height to one pixel… but nothing works. ?

What am I doing wrong?

AND the worst problem: the subscribe box on the bottom right should be lined up with the right hand side edge.
In IE it looks fine.
In Firefox, it’s slightly to the left and refuses to budge whatever I do. ?
I have a table of zero border, 0 padding etc.
Inside that on the bottom row, I have another table that holds the subscription box. The row is split in 2, with the aligining of that cell set to be on the right.

I just can’t figure it out. ?

ANY help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

@_Aerospace_Eng_Dec 18.2005 — As for the gaps, play around with font-size and line-height. Line-height:0px and font-size:1px would probably work. As for the subscribe box, it looks the same in IE6.02 and FF1.5 for me.

@ramakrishna_p2Dec 18.2005 — If OM2 can wait for another 24 hours I can Set right everything and send the exact code he is looking for with reasoning out error areas. Iam little busy with my Office work to be completed.

Line-height:0px ??

Never seen that one before.

Is that standard CSS?

i was just testing you.

@ray326Dec 19.2005 — There's no need for tables or spacer GIFs there. That design can be easily realized with structural HTML and CSS.
