Hi there,

I’m trying to have more precision in my divisions. Let’s say I want to divide 1 by 3, then I would like to receive 0.333333 (six decimal places) instead of the default two decimal places.

How do I do this?

Thank you very much!

@A1ien51Dec 15.2005 — When I do 1/3 with JavaScript I do not get 2 decimal places....Are you talking about toFixed or some other function/method?

@JeremioramaauthorDec 15.2005 — Hmm,

I actually only get two decimal places.

When I do:

var x = 1/3;

The variable x contains then 0.33 but that's it. I'd like it to be more specific.

Thanks!

@A1ien51Dec 15.2005 — what browser you doing this in?

var x = 1/3;

alert(x);

should not return 2 places.
