multiple html sources in one html file?

Is it possible to have frames and put everything in one HTML file? Something like the way email can contain all the parts of an HTML page in one compound MIME file. I can do it with a separate HTML file for each frame but that creates problems for me.

My page has a menu, a large table and some status info. To allow scrolling of the table and keep the menu & status in view I’m using frames. The page is created dynamically, via mod_python (CGI like).

I normally don’t write the dynamic page to disk. My program creates it and passes it directly to the Apache web server. If I start creating multiple HTML files for each web page then I have to writ them to disk… and keep each group of HTML files organized in directories, one for each user/session. I’d like to avoid the complexity of writing these files to disk.

@the_treeDec 12.2005 — The lipsum passage is just a lot of phrases from popular Roman literature randomly thrown together. It's standard filler text and not really got anything to do with Charles' awnser.
