Urgent help, please, no descriptions on google?

Hi All,
I am a new into this and we have a vey exciting site : [url]www.homecookingx.com[/url] and we submit the site twice within last month to google. We launched our site about 3 weeks ago.
But when we do search homecookingx.com, there is nothing under my URL, ? ? ? please take a look:
[url]http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLG,GGLG:2005-26,GGLG:en&q=homecookingx[/url]

I can see something on yahoo though:
[url]http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=homecookingx.com&fr=FP-tab-web-t&toggle=1&cop=&ei=UTF-8[/url]

Please help us!!! we have sellers with good stuff to sell and we want to help them.

Advice:

  • 1. Check your robots.txt, .htaccess or httpd.conf settings whether you are blocking or making things difficult for bots.

  • 2. Sanatize URI's using Apache mod_rewrite.

  • 3. Use semantic mark-up (i.e. add Doctype, loose the tables for presentation etc.).
