Hello. was wondering if anyone had a better or more “robust??” way of doing what i did(always seems like i go the long way around things.) anyway, before i forget, there is the site http://www.davidfells.com/~microfix/index.htm. the issue i’m concerned with is the grey contact area at the bottom of the left column. its id is “Contact”. i’ve used javascript to keep both the left and the right column the same length and to force that “Contact” section to stay at the bottom. i’m rather new at using the DOM to manipulate html elements so the marginTop property of the style object is all i could think of to use for top spacing on that Contact div. you’ll notice that i created a variable called “topSpacing” and set it equal to the height of the right column – the heights of everythign else in that left column div and i subtracted an extra 11px from everythign just to get things lined up.. anyway you might be able to understand it better if you ignore everything i’ve just said  and just check out the source yourself. i’m basicaly just wondering if theres a more elegant way of doing what i just did. thanks a million in advance j
@knivesDec 02.2005 — #your designs was good..i think it better to place at the center and make all thing resizeable.. but it is to smal when you use 1124 -1280 resolution. try to go this link www.dcfa.nl resize the window they have resizeable website and resolution independent.
