Hello, I’m having a bit of difficulty in getting an iFrame to display properly on my company’s intranet site; specifically the iFrame will not automatically adjust to the height of the content within it. It simply stays at the same default size. When attempting the view the page on our intranet, I receive the following browser error:
Error: [Exception… “‘Permission denied to get property HTMLDocument.body’ when calling method: [nsIDOMEventListener::handleEvent]” nsresult: “0x8057001e (NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_STRING)” location: “<unknown>” data: no]
I know it is not a problem with the Javascript I am using to have the frame auto-set it’s height to the contents (as we’ve used it before), but I just cannot get it to automatically set the height.
Now, the intranet page with the actual iFrame is behind our company’s firewall. However, the page in which it is pulling content into the frame itself is coming from a shared, public server (no firewall). I’m wondering if this might be causing the error given above, and possibly the reason why the frame won’t automatically set the height. Do any of you know if the firewall is causing the error, or if it’s a different problem altogether? Thanks for any assistance.
