Open thumbnail in new window

Hi All,
I’m hoping someone can help. I’ve trawled this forum and the web and can’t find a script to do what I want although I can get 3 out of the 4 conditions in various combination! ?

I thought this would be the ‘standard’ way of opening thumbnails but apparently not:

  • 1.

    Click on a thumbnail to open the full-size image in a new window. This is a basic window without the toolbars.

  • 2.

    Clicking on other thumbnails will re-use the rew window.

  • 3.

    The window will automatically resize to the size of the full-size image.

  • 4.

    The image will have a small border around it.

    • I also need to be able to enter ALT text for the image and an image title that shows when you hover the mouse over it althoguh I’m assuming they won’t present a problem.

    The nearest I’ve found is this

    [url]http://javascript.internet.com/page-details/auto-resizable-pop-up.html[/url]

    but it doesn’t re-use the window and I can’t figure how to add that to the code.

    Can anyone help, please?

    That's neat but I don't want anything as complex. I struggle with the little bit of code I have already.

    If the code mentioned in my original post could be modified to re-use the window, that would be pretty close.
