Firefox Image Box

I have a [URL=http://thelostmines.com/gif/invasion.html]web page [/URL] that displayes a lot of over lapping images. With Firefox, it shows all these boxes where the images will appear. I makes the web page look horrible while you sit there waiting for these images to load. Is there any way to make Firefox not display these boxes prior to the images being loaded?

@ray326Nov 10.2005 — Have you tried it without the width and height attributes on the img tags?

@JAPersonauthorNov 10.2005 — I thought they were required for validation, but I see I was wrong.

Taking the width and height attributes out did make a change by making the boxes smaller. I was hoping to eliminate them altogether.

Thanks for your advice.
