ok here is my problem i dont want an elaborate dropdow menu for my page but,
but i do want a dropdown so the <select> tag i more for what i am looking for
also i want thumbnails in the select box for every item.
has anyone been able to put images in a select box?
i know how to change the style of the items but i have no idea on how to
do images ??
any sugestion are greatly appreciated

@KravvitzNov 05.2005 — You can't put images in a <option> elements and not all browsers allow you to add background images to <option> elements.

You'll need to use a DHTML script to act like a <select> element.
