Help making a user profile

How can I make a link to a user profile, without it going to a specific user profile?

What I mean is, when a person clicks on a profile it takes them their, how do I make one of those, so when somone clicks on it it takes them to the profile they clicked on?

myboard.com/index.cgi?action=viewprofile&user=admin
The above would take you to the admin profile

myboard.com/index.cgi?action=viewprofile&user=xspiritussanctix
This one would take me to one of my members profiles

What I want is one where It will take me to the correct profile know matter what user I click on, so I only have to make one code, and not one for every user.
