Big Space, Don’t Know What To Do

This is probabally a simple one.
I program a website for a school, and between a header, and the news section on the home page, there is a big space. I haved looked at all the css to the best of my ability ? , and i can’t figure it out.

Please help,

Are u referring to the news underneath the Events and small image of the Roadrunner?
