@chazzyOct 13.2005 — My first question is why would you want to do that?

I have seen access applications connect to mysql databases, but the real question is why?

@cwrathOct 13.2005 — when i first started i seached the internet for the same thing, being confortable with Access, however if you install phpMyAdmin, a lot of the hassel is take out for you.

@chazzyOct 13.2005 — Well there are Access -> MySQL Conversion utilities that will convert your data to MySQL.

From there, you can easily build a PHP app over that data.

In general, there is nothing gained in Access Front end + ODBC + MySQL Database vs. Access app over Access Database.
