Entering text

Hi all. I’m new to web design but have an annoying issue. I’m using Namo Web Editor 6, which is fine for what I do except text entry. It seems to insert non-breaking spaces (&nbsp) indiscriminately. I’ve tried typing longer text entries into Word and copying from Word into my page templates – but that inserts all other annoying code that seems to serve no purpose.

So, my question is, if I am creating long text pieces, is it best to simply do so in Notepad and copy from that, or does Notepad also insert unneeded tags? It’s really a hassle!

Thanks for any suggestions!

@BrollachanOct 11.2005 — Notepad only inserts what you type, and doesn't add anything extra as far as I'm aware. ?
