Beginning tables to advanced tables

I’ve read all the html books that you can think of. I pretty much have every tag memorized. I can do basic tables, nested tables, but I can’t do a simple layout for a webpage. Is there any other book, or website that I can find and read about creating webpage layouts. I’m pretty much stuck on tables now. Please help!!

@PatrictOct 11.2005 — It sounds like thats the whole problem - you need to decide on a layout first - ie - what you want the site to look like, and then you can decide on where you need tables etc. Draw the site if you have to, but get a basic idea of where you want the header, nav bar, etc, then you can split it up as necessary ? Design is the hardest part... so good luck!

@the_treeOct 11.2005 — In case you hadn't gathered from BonRouge's signature, tables are not recomended as a means to layout a page. Any resource that says otherwise is well, out of date.
