Issue uploading files

Has anyone had any problems with their file upload scripts in firefox? I’m using a script that works great in safari and IE. It even works in firefox up to a point. I succeed in moving the file to the directory that I want, but then firefox crashes. It’s happened everytime, and I’m at a loss as to what might cause this.

Another thing I’ve noticed is that most of the scripts I’ve seen use $_FILES[‘uploadedFile’]. But when I print_r($_FILES), it only has a $_FILES[‘picture’].

Is there a reason for this discrepancy? BTW, I’m using PHP 5.0

@JaelanauthorOct 06.2005 — Some more info: I'm using firefox on a mac, so I assumed it was firefox in general that crashed on file upload.

So I decided to test it out on firefox on a PC. No crash. So i've narrowed it down to crashing in Firefox on a mac...any insight??

maybe it is with just yours, maybe a software glitch/corruption??

Just an idea to look into
