NO text rezise?

Hello I am from Norway. I work a lot at my homepage. I would like to learn how to make my site NOT rezising the text even if my visitors choose it in view—text size—-largest og smallest.

What can I do??? Please help.

If you use the font CSS tag [B]IE[/B] won't resize your text.

<div style="font: 9pt/11pt arial;">this won't be resized in IE</div>

However, Opera's zoom feature will always zoom (even if you make your text in an image) and Firefox will resize the code above.

@MstrBobSep 30.2005 — Well, IE won't allow resizing if you give it a pixel font size. E.G.

font-size:12px;

However, other browsers do. And you should NEVER be looking to restrict font resizing anyway. The web is not a static page, it's a lot different from paper design. The web is fluid; your site needs to be fluid to fit in and work.

  • 2. not work


    • You define the page content and suggest the appearance. Your visitors can choose to go with the way that you want the page to appear or define their own stylesheet and view your info the way that they want.
