Need some help

Hoping that some kind person on here can help me out. This is more of a javascript issue but there are php elements too.

I have a need to register against the CDDB database when I kick off my web app and I need to do this via a javascript function, which I have and works. Right now I am passing my login credentials to the javascript function so that it is visible to anyone that looks at the source code. The javascript function is being called via on_click with the HTML/PHP code.

I really don’t want to pass my login credentials, so how can I get them from within the javascript? My login credentials are stored in a file on the server.

I would appreciate any help on this as I am really not sure how to go about this.

@VladdySep 30.2005 — Check your credentials server side. Do not use javascript for any "mission critical" functionality
