I’m creating sort of a wiki based site where users can edit stuff. I have basically one php page, that leeches off of a post variable, session, or cookie to retrieve a certain row from a mysql table. One of the columns is “text”, and in that column, i have tons of text with custom tags such as [text] or [java]. Another php page translates the tags into html code. Then I echo this code out.
The problem is, I want to be able to display some dynamic stuff on this one page, because I want to see if I can display the entire site through one page. In the end of my php code I have something like:
[code=php]echo($text_formatted);
This works fine for html code, but when I put php code in $text_formatted, that php code doesn’t process, and I understand why it wouldn’t. My question then is, is there anyway to store this dynamic php/mysql code into a variable that I can call and process on this page? Thanks in Advance!
