Firefox and Absolute Positioned DIV

Hi,

I am having a problem with an Absolutely positioned DIV. The controls below it are appearing on top of the div. The div is hidden, but when I bring it to the front, other elements are on top of it. Z-index has no effect from what I can tell. IE displays it fine. Any help is appreciated.
