1 user account over multiple databases

This time I really need some help. I have installed on my website an Invision Power Board forum, a Post-Nuke portal system that doesnt seem to support the forum but has its own “CHEAP” one, Classified Ad software, and a Shopping Cart.

What I want to know is, is there a way to make “one” account system that will support/be supported by all of these scripts and allow me to disable the default “login” scripts for each installation?

I don’t want users having to login and create new accounts for every feature on my site. I want just one login account that will log them into all the features until they log out or their session ends.

Can someone give me some tips on how to do this. Or at least let me know if it is possible or not. Thanks. ?

@Stephen_PhilbinAug 28.2005 — Of course it's possible, but it would take a rewrite of most of the code.
