links and fading effect

I heard it was possible to have a fading effect for a link (a: hover) with javascript.
How can we do that?

@SpectrumFireNov 11.2005 — Download the file I attached, and put it in the directory of the page you're working with. Next, just add this to the header of your page:

[CODE]<script type="text/javascript" src="fader.js">
</script>[/CODE]


You can change certain aspects of how the script works (such as speed and color the link fades to) by editing the javascript file in notepad.
