javascript and using images!

Hi everyone (or anyone)

I’m a bit of a newbie so apologies now if this sounds really stupid BUT …

I got this image that needs to link to a javasript link, but i dont know how to. The image code is as follows

<img src=”chat4.gif” width=”154″ height=”61″ border=”0″>

and it needs to link to the following file …

<script type=”text/javascript”
src=”http://www.someurl.com/livehelp/livehelp_js.php?department=1&amp;pin
gtimes=15″></script>

i’ve tried to using html and the a href function but keep getting errors. cananyone put me on the right path.

@JPnycAug 20.2005 — What for? You want them to download the script? Then you don't use a script tag, but a regular anchor tag.
