[COLOR=Indigo]Hi. I’m a newbie here, hello all.
I’m making a website for a friend who is making comic books. He’s got these comics on large pages – basically not a comic “strip” with a few frames. Anyway, we were thinking of just putting them all on the one webpage so ppl scroll down indefinitely. What I’m wondering is, because each comic “page” takes a short while to load, will the page end up being so big that it just takes too long to download? I’m wondering how the browser loads a page. When it’s parsing the html, it’s gonna go in order from the top picture on the page (therefore the first pic listed in the html) and down from there, right? Or could it load them randomly. Basically, will it throw up the first comic, then while ppl are reading that it’ll be loading the next one down the page, or can I not rely on that cause it might load randomly?
Sorry the question is so long. I hope it’s intelligible.
