Check windows folder for "Shared"

Newbie question….

Is it possible to write a JavaScript to verify if the Windows “My Documents” folder is shared?

Any help / suggestions appreciated.

@MongusJul 29.2005 — #No. JavaScript has no way to do file I/O directly. Even if it did browsers have tight security preventing this kind of activity.
