Need help with Navagation Script

Ok, I’m using a script from [url]http://www.quirksmode.org/index.html?/js/display.html[/url]

The problem is, in IE, it doesn’t work correctly. Like when you open one, it shows a few other div tags and looks bad. It works in IE after you have open everything once, but at first it looks bad. Any suggestions? I’m not good with javascript so mostly I just played around with the script.
