I subscribed to this forum to hear suggestions how to better my scripts and stuff. I find your comment very useful...
As long as it is polite, is better than good.
The reason I don't want the sound to happen when you do the selection, is because maybe the user will be bothered to hear a sound in a time when he does not want to...
Anyway, I know, as far as my knowledge goes, two methods of playing a sound in JS. I used the second method.
I ask you (and any other interested user) to compare both methods. The info would be very useful.
(okay... I won't wait for your answer... i'll just do it. lol  )
Does the music part work in Netscape? (i never heard any music.. and i'm using broadband)
Also... your site (the one in your profile) is "optimized" for everythin above 800x600 (i wanted to check it out... but.. oh... the... s-c-r-o-l-l-i-n-g-!-!-! ? ).
ummm.... that's it.
I'm not looking to hammer ya (just observing and reporting).
(i wish it was nitetime when i viewed your site... it's has a cool blacklight effect going on there! ? )
I did the script (as well as the other scripts in the site) mainly for IE users, as most of the people surf the web with IE. It is an absolute majority in the Internet that prefer IE5+ above all other browsers.
I never meant that Netscape is not a good product, the opposite, it is super cool. But I have to have a great great majority of users in mind; that's my whole motivation. I don't think that Netscape users are that much to try a cross-browser solution for every script, although I wished to fulfill everybody's wish... but that would be extra time, effort, etc...
The truth is that I never even tried Netscape for my script. Does it work...?
The info would be also valuable for me.
As far as the comments for the site in my profile... I'm sorry, but had a little bit of trouble understanding what you tried to say... I recognize you do have a way of talking not easily understood by me. Did you like it, yes, not or regular?
