@buntineJul 18.2005 — The document explains the CSS cursor property. In your case, you could do something like this:
<i>
</i>a
{
cursor: crosshair;
}

The preceding would be placed into a CSS file or within <style> elements in an HTML document.

The following page demonstrates the property, as does the one Charles posted: http://www.w3schools.com/css/pr_class_cursor.asp

Regards.

To be clear, the document that I cited defines the property.

@ExuroJul 19.2005 — It sounds to me like this guy wants to change the cursor for just one link on the page which contains an image. Here's a little snippet of how you'd change the cursor for a particular link:
<a href="/somewhere" style="cursor:crosshair">My Link</a>
You can use the style attribute in pretty much any tag you want to change the cursor for.

It's kind of sad that your initial request still hasn't been met... What you were asking for was a link to a CSS tutorial, so here's one I like:

http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp

http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS2/ui.html#propdef-cursor
Charles, if he had any idea how to use that, he would've been posting on the CSS forums, not here. He probably doesn't even know what CSS is, so linking to the spec sheet again really isn't helpful at all.
