newline and tab sequences won’t work

can someone tell me why my n and t doesn’t work in any of my code.

$f_result = “<b>Location Added Successfullyn</b>”;
$f_result .= “Location:t $lnamen”;
$f_result .= “State:t $staten”;
$f_result .= “Email:t $emailn”;
$f_result .= “Telephone:t $teln”;
$f_result .= “Fax:t $faxn”;
$f_result .= “Address:t $addrn”;

echo($f_result);

it still prints everything on one line.

“Location Added Successfully Location: Oxford State: AL Email: [email][email protected][/email] Telephone: 24242142 Fax: Address: gdfsgdgs gd “
